Marin Consulting LLC (“Groovy,” “we,” “us”) operates getgroovy.ai. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it. It’s short because we collect very little.
What we collect
When you contact us or book a session. Your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message or intake questions. If you book, we also get the date and time of your appointment.
When you subscribe to the newsletter. Your email address, handled by Substack under their own privacy policy.
Automatically, when you visit. Standard technical information your browser sends — IP address, browser type, pages viewed. We use this to keep the site working and secure, not to build a profile of you.
We do not collect payment card details on this site, health information, or any sensitive personal information. Please don’t send us any.
Why we collect it
To answer you, to hold your appointment, to send the newsletter and free guide if you asked for them, and to keep the site running and free of spam. That’s all. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s advertising.
Who else handles it
We use ordinary service providers to run the site, and your information passes through them:

Each has its own privacy policy. We share information with them only so they can perform these functions.
How long we keep it
Contact and appointment records: as long as we have a working relationship, and up to three years after, so we can answer questions about past work. Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, unless we’re required to keep it.
Your choices
Email us at ty@getgroovy.ai to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any issue — it works immediately, and unsubscribing doesn’t affect anything else.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information. Ask and we’ll honor them.
Children
This site is for business owners and isn’t directed at anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. Material changes get announced in the newsletter.
